DETMAR STRAUB

Dr. Detmar is Professor and IBIT Research Fellow at Temple University’s Fox School. A Regents Professor Emeritus of the University System of Georgia and formerly holding a professorship in the CIS Dept. of the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University, Detmar has conducted research in the areas of information & cyber security, e-Commerce, technological innovation, international IT studies, and business research methods. He holds a DBA in MIS from Indiana and a Ph.D. in English from Penn State.

Detmar has over 200 publications, including books and papers in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Management Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of MIS, Journal of AIS, Decision Sciences Journal, Organization Science, Decision Support Systems, Communications of the ACM, Information & Management, Communications of the AIS, Organizational Research Methods, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, DATA BASE, OMEGA, Academy of Management Executive, and Sloan Management Review.

MARY TATE

Dr. Mary Tate is the coeditor in Chief of the journal "Communication of the Association for Information Systems". She is an Associate Professor at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. Her research focuses on digital services using new technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. She received her Ph.D. in information systems from Victoria University. Dr. Tate teaches IT management, digital transformation, information systems theory and research methods, and user experience design.
Dr. Tate has been a member of AIS for more than 15 years and serves as the Membership Director for the Australasian Chapter of AIS. Dr. Tate was recognized as an AIS Distinguished Member – Cum Laude this past month. Her research has been published in Communications of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information & Management, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Frontiers, Journal of Business Research, and MIT Sloan Management Review. In addition, Dr. Tate has served in multiple roles in leading Information Systems conferences.

DENIS DENNEHY

Dr. Denis Dennehy is the coeditor in Chief of the journal "Communication of the Association for Information System". He is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics (Research) and School Research Lead at the School of Management, Swansea University in Wales. His research primarily focuses on the mediating role of emerging technologies and analytics and their implications for people, organizations, and society. He has designed, delivered, and assessed IS-related modules at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education levels. Topics include IS innovation strategy, project and portfolio management, business value of emerging technologies, digital transformation, supply chain management, IS for sustainable development, and research methods. 
Dr. Dennehy has been a member of AIS for almost ten years. His research has been published in leading journals including the European Journal of Operational Research, Government Information Quarterly, IEEE Software, IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, Information & Management, Information Systems Frontiers, Information Technology & People, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Systems & Software, and Project Management Journal.

MARK THOMPSON

Mark Thompson is a Professor of Digital Economy in INDEX (Initiative for the Digital Economy).  He holds a BA in Human Sciences from University of Oxford, an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS, and a PhD in Information Systems from University of Cambridge.  Mark’s research draws on practice-based theories to investigate the intersection between emerging digital business models, and organisational innovation and transformation.

Mark has published articles in a broad range of journals including Information and Organization, Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Government Information Quarterly, Public Administration, Human Relations, Journal of International Development, and Journal of the Association of Information Systems.

He is acknowledged in the public domain as one of the architects of Digital service redesign within the UK public sector, and blends the roles of academic, practitioner, and policy commentator. He has chaired several of the large annual conferences on Digital in the UK public sector including the annual National Digital Conference, and contributes to Computer Weekly and a range of other practitioner publications.
